Charter Bank Donates $50,000 to Carson Park Baseball Stadium Renovation Fund

Carson Park Baseball Stadium Renovation

The Eau Claire Community Foundation and the Carson Park Baseball Stadium Renovation Committee are pleased to announce that Charter Bank is donating $50,000 to the Carson Park Baseball Stadium Renovation Fund, a fund of the Eau Claire Community Foundation.

The Carson Park Baseball Stadium Renovation Project is a partnership between the City of Eau Claire, the users of the stadium, and the many supporters of baseball in the Chippewa Valley. Fundraising efforts continue in order to match the $1.75 million dollars that the City of Eau Claire has already pledged for the project.

The renovation will replace the current aluminum bleachers with a permanent structure, concession areas, apparel space, and climate-controlled restrooms. It will also allow the park to better meet Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards, making it possible for even more people to enjoy the Great American Past-Time in our All-American City.

Paul Kohler, President and CEO of Charter Bank, explained why Charter Bank felt it was so important to support this Project: “Charter Bank started in Eau Claire over 40 years ago and has grown with the community, supporting projects that enhance the lives of the people who live here. We value the Eau Claire community and feel privileged to back projects and programs that bring a better quality of life to this area. We want to support the Carson Park Baseball Stadium Renovations not only because of the history of Carson Park, but because of what this means for our future economic growth.”

Online donations for the Carson Park Baseball Renovation Fund held at the Eau Claire Community Foundation can be made on the Carson Park Baseball Stadium Renovation Fund page, or checks can be mailed to:
