2023 Additions to ECCF’s Family of Funds

ECCF welcomed a variety of exciting new Funds in 2023! Read on to learn about these additions to our Family of Funds.

AGENCY ENDOWMENT FUNDS

These Funds allow charitable organizations to establish Endowment Funds within ECCF rather than create and manage such a Fund themselves. They generate a predictable stream of income so that the nonprofit can use the earnings from the Fund to offset its operations forever.

Chippewa River Watershed Fund

This Fund will help Landmark Conservancy preserve wild and scenic places in the Chippewa River Watershed.

CVM-Wisconsin Logging Museum Fund

This Fund supports the operations of the Wisconsin Logging Museum.

Schwartz-Miller Scholarship Fund

This Fund supports scholarships for the entry fees of high school ski team members.

Tom Thompson and Barbara Menzies-Thompson Nature Fund

This Fund supports nature education at Beaver Creek Reserve.

ACORN FUNDS

These starter Funds can be established for as little as $500. Once they become fully funded, they will be able to distribute grants.

Dave and Tammy Swanson Family Fund

This Fund will eventually become a Donor Advised Fund that supports nonprofits chosen by the Swanson family.

Duane and Joan Dingmann Family Fund

This Fund will eventually become an Unrestricted Fund that supports a variety of local nonprofits.

Jennifer Hanson-Bremer and Greg Bremer Family Fund

Priority Fund

This Fund will support the operations of the American Birkebeiner Ski Foundation and the Foundation for the Endowment of the American Birkebeiner.

Tom Lindsey Conservation Fund

Once it is fully funded, the Tom Lindsey Conservation Fund will support environmental organizations and their related programs, with preference given to programs that protect clean water and/or pollinator habitats.

DESIGNATED FUNDS

A Designated fund allows donors to support their favorite nonprofit organization, church, or school forever.

Chippewa Valley Museums Endowment Fund

This Fund supports the operations of the Wisconsin Logging Museum.

Dean J. Arnold CVM Archivist Intern Fund

This Fund provides funding for an intern who focuses on preserving and archiving historical information for the Chippewa Valley Museum on an annual basis.

KMAC, Kristine MacCallum Fund

Dr. Joseph M. and Jean M. Tobin Family Fund

This Fund supports Beaver Creek Reserve and the mental health needs of individuals with disabilities.
