Each year, the Eau Claire Community Foundation (ECCF) and the Women's Giving Circle (WGC) host a variety of events for donors, fund holders, members and professional advisors to attend. Learn more about each event below!

  • Autumn Social

    Each year at this event, the Board of Trustees gives special recognition to a leader or leaders who have made a significant impact at the Eau Claire Community Foundation. At this event we present the Leadership Award to individuals whose outstanding work has made ECCF what it is today. In addition to presenting this award, we also recognize our outgoing Board members with a $1,000 grant to the nonprofit of their choice.  

    This year’s event will be held on October 10, 2023 from 4:30 – 8:00 p.m. at the Florian Gardens.  RSVP here.

  • Professional Advisors

    Professional advisors of all kinds – attorneys, accountants, estate planners, and others – play a vital role in helping grow philanthropy. The Eau Claire Community Foundation wants to be a resource for you as well as a philanthropic partner for your clients. Each year, we host a Professional Advisors event to educate advisors on important topics relevant to the current year. Past event topics have included: Exploring Gifts of Unique Assets, Actionable Tax Planning Strategies, and Philanthropic Updates and Trends. The event is typically held mid-October each year. Seating is limited for this highly attended event, so be sure to sign up early! CLE & CPA Educational credits available. Complimentary hors d’oeuvre and cash bar are available to attendees. 

    This year’s event will be held on October 19th, 2023 from 3:30 – 5:30 p.m. at the Eau Claire Golf and Country Club.

  • WGC Education Event

    Each year, the WGC, a Fund of ECCF, hosts the Education Event, which addresses a current pressing need of the community. Past event topics have included Childcare Challenges in the Chippewa Valley, Cyberbullying, Navigating Mental Health Challenges, and more. Click below to watch the 2023 event recording.


  • WGC Spring Gathering

    Join WGC members as they celebrate more than 15 years of supporting local women and children! You’ll also meet the 2022 WGC grant recipients and learn how they impact our community. The WGC Spring Gathering is open to current members as well as anyone who’s interested in learning more about the WGC. Grant recipients will update the group on the progress of their grant-funded programs. Social will start at 5:00pm, dinner will be at 6:00pm.

    This year’s event was held on May 1st from 5:00 – 8:00p.m. at the Brewing Projekt

  • WGC Annual Meeting

    The Annual Meeting is a WGC event where members vote on the current year’s funded grants and next year’s officers. RSVP here.

    This years event will be held on November 7th from 4:30 – 7:00 pm at Wild Ridge Golf and Events Center.

  • WGC Gift of Giving Breakfast

    The Gift of Giving Breakfast is a heart warming, winter event where the current year’s WGC grant recipients receive their awards and connect with WGC members.  RSVP here. 

    This years event will be held on December 5th from 7:30 – 9:00 a.m. at The Florian Gardens.
