2023 Women’s Giving Circle grant recipients

The members of the Women's Giving Circle voted to fund $41,300 in grant awards at their Annual Meeting on Nov. 7, 2023. Each grant recipient helps to fulfill the WGC’s mission of supporting women and children in the Eau Claire area. Local businesses play a vital role in supporting philanthropy, and Market & Johnson  is prominent among them. M&J has always encouraged its employees to become personally involved in the communities where they live and work. To help further this goal, they created the M&J Employee Impact Fund, held at ECCF, in which employees pool their contributions to support organizations in the communities where they live and work.    In celebration of our 25th Anniversary, ECCF has awarded more than a quarter million dollars to local nonprofits over the past 12 months. Members of ECCF's Society of Founders at the 25th Anniversary Event The Eau Claire Community Foundation celebrated its first quarter century at its 25th Anniversary Event on June 20. Women’s Giving Circle Celebrates its 15th Anniversary by Increasing Grant Awards!

In honor of the WGC's 15th anniversary, the members are celebrating by adding an extra $1500 to the maximum request amount! Applicants can apply for up to $7500 in funding this year, up from the previous $6000. The Women's Giving Circle will be accepting grant applications from April 1 to July 1, 2022. Any nonprofit that benefits Eau Claire area women and/or children under age 18 is eligible to apply. Form Futures Grant Recipients Announced!

 ECCF is proud to have served the Eau Claire area for almost a quarter century. That’s why today’s announcement of its Form Futures grant recipients is especially significant: November 12 – 18 is Community Foundation Week, a nationwide celebration to recognize the increasingly important role that community foundations play in addressing civic and economic challenges.
