In Memoriam: Sheriff Ron Cramer Posted on September 16, 2022 by support Sheriff Ron Cramer ECCF honors the life and contributions of Sheriff Ron Cramer, a longtime pillar of the Eau Claire community. Although he passed away on Sep. 13, 2022, his positive impact on the community will be felt for years to come. Women’s Giving Circle Holds Event in Support of Ukraine Posted on July 27, 2022 by Eau Claire Community Foundation Members of the Women’s Giving Circle, a Fund of ECCF, hosted an educational event on July 26 to help community members learn more about the experiences of Ukrainian refugees. Natalia Ripeckyj, a Chippewa Valley resident with deep Ukrainian roots, along with Luda Anastazievsky, a Ukraine native and a volunteer in the Ukrainian American Community Center in Minneapolis, spoke about their families and how they have been directly impacted by the current crisis, along with ongoing efforts to get citizens to safety. Women’s Giving Circle Celebrates its 15th Anniversary by Increasing Grant Awards! Posted on April 4, 2022 by Eau Claire Community Foundation In honor of the WGC's 15th anniversary, the members are celebrating by adding an extra $1500 to the maximum request amount! Applicants can apply for up to $7500 in funding this year, up from the previous $6000. The Women's Giving Circle will be accepting grant applications from April 1 to July 1, 2022. Give Green Grant Recipients Announced! Posted on March 22, 2022 by Eau Claire Community Foundation This year's St. Patrick's Day was especially festive for ECCF: On that day, we announced the recipients of bonus grants through our Give Green Grant Catalog. This Grant Catalog, which allowed the public to donate directly to nonprofit funding requests, was part of the celebration of ECCF’s upcoming 25th anniversary. Give Green supports animals, the environment, and fitness opportunities; it’s one of ECCF’s four giving categories. Access Eau Claire grants help local nonprofits meet accessibility needs Posted on January 31, 2022 by Eau Claire Community Foundation A new online grant opportunity is helping Eau Claire area nonprofits increase inclusion initiatives for people with disabilities. Supported by the Access Eau Claire Fund, which was established at the Eau Claire Community Foundation by Dr. Katherine Schneider, these grants will help nonprofits facilitate participation in their organizations by people with disabilities.
