WGC Educational Event Educates Community About Mental Health Needs and Resources

The Women's Giving Circle's Educational Event, “Navigating Mental Health Challenges During COVID-19,” featured panelists Laura Baalrud, Jackie Bachmeier, and Corina Fisher. They addressed youth and geriatric mental health challenges caused by the pandemic. They also shared coping strategies and the many resources that are available to people struggling with mental health issues. This online event took place on Monday, March 8, 2021. The Women’s Giving Circle Announces a Record Amount of Grant Funding

The members of the Women's Giving Circle are pleased to announce that in 2019, they're awarding a record $47,210 in grants. Each grant recipient helps to fulfill the WGC’s mission of supporting women and children in the Eau Claire area. Women’s Giving Circle Grant Applications Accepted April 1-July 1, 2019

The Women's Giving Circle will be accepting grant applications from April 1 to July 1, 2019. Any Eau Claire area nonprofit with a new or enhanced program that benefits Eau Claire area women and/or children is eligible to apply. The WGC will be awarding grants of up to $6000 in 2019. Women’s Giving Circle Announces 2018 Circle Advisory Team

The Women’s Giving Circle, a fund of the Eau Claire Community Foundation, has announced its Circle Advisory Team for 2018. In order to join the Women’s Giving Circle, members contribute at least $250.00 a year. Part of their contribution supports grants to local nonprofit organizations that run programs benefiting women and/or children. The other portion of the contribution is used to build an endowment at the Eau Claire Community Foundation for future grants. Anyone—male or female—can join the Women’s Giving Circle. More than 150 members and dozens of guests turned out to the Women’s Giving Circle annual Spring Gathering at the Eau Claire Golf and Country Club.
