The Women’s Giving Circle Announces the Largest Grant Allocation in its History

The Women's Giving Circle is pleased to announce that it's currently accepting applications for the 2014 grant cycle. This organization of local women has created a fund aimed at supporting programs that benefit women and children in the Eau Claire area. Thanks to the members' efforts and generosity, the fund, which is held at the Eau Claire Community Foundation, will enable the Women's Giving Circle to award the largest grant allocation in its history: it has $30,000 available for grants this year.

Any organizations that might qualify for a Women's Giving Circle grant can find more information on this website under the "Apply for a Grant" tab. Applications must be submitted by July 1, 2014, in order to be considered for this year's grant awards.

Begun in 2006, the Women's Giving Circle is a philanthropic organization that has grown to over 170 members and awarded over $95,000 in grants. Each member contributes $250 annually; the money is used to award grants and support the Women's Endowment Fund. This community of women also comes together for occasional social gatherings, and there are opportunities for members who wish to be active in the granting process.

The Women's Giving Circle always welcomes new members. Anyone interested in more information about joining the Women's Giving Circle can contact the Eau Claire Community Foundation via this website or call us at (715) 552-3801.
