Hope Gospel Mission’s New Acorn Fund

The Eau Claire Community Foundation is pleased to announce Hope Gospel Mission’s creation of a new Acorn Fund. Acorn Funds are seed funds that build in size until they can begin distributing grants to the community. Hope Gospel Mission will have 60 months from its Acorn Fund’s inception to reach the $10,000 level that will make the fund officially endowed. The Women’s Giving Circle Announces the Largest Grant Allocation in its History

The Women's Giving Circle is pleased to announce that it's currently accepting applications for the 2014 grant cycle. This organization of local women has created a fund aimed at supporting programs that benefit women and children in the Eau Claire area. Thanks to the members' efforts and generosity, the fund, which is held at the Eau Claire Community Foundation, will enable the Women's Giving Circle to award the largest grant allocation in its history: it has $30,000 available for grants this year. Betsy Barnes Wins 2013 Leadership Award

The 2013 Annual Fall Gathering of the Eau Claire Community Foundation was a great time to learn about philanthropy in the Chippewa Valley and some people who have made a long-lasting impact in the Chippewa Valley.  One of those people is Betsy Barnes who was honored with the 2013 Leadership Award at the Fall Gathering.
