Women’s Giving Circle Announces 2018 Circle Advisory Team

The Women’s Giving Circle, a fund of the Eau Claire Community Foundation, has announced its Circle Advisory Team for 2018. In order to join the Women’s Giving Circle, members contribute at least $250.00 a year. Part of their contribution supports grants to local nonprofit organizations that run programs benefiting women and/or children. The other portion of the contribution is used to build an endowment at the Eau Claire Community Foundation for future grants. Anyone—male or female—can join the Women’s Giving Circle. Draper Hills Financial Literacy Endowment Creates a Model for Philanthropic Support of Public Education

Dr. Carter Hill presents a $25,000 grant to the School District of Loyal so it can launch a new Financial Literacy program. Grants Committee Chair Karl Murch speaks at the 2017 ECCF Annual Meeting. The Eau Claire Community Foundation is proud to announce that it awarded $118,441 in grants through its 2017 competitive grant cycle. Most grant recipients received their checks at the Foundation’s Annual Meeting on June 7. If a new state tax credit is approved, charitable donors could soon see a financial return on their generosity.
