Tom Thompson and Barb Menzies-Thompson Nature Fund Nature lovers can rejoice in the Beaver Creek Reserve, which offers 400 acres of diverse habitats to explore. Bordered by the Eau Claire River, it has an abundance of flora and fauna to be discovered and plenty of educational sites, including the Wise Nature Center. The Reserve has several funds to support specific aspects of its operations. One of them is the Tom Thompson and Barb Menzies-Thompson Nature Fund, which supports nature education at Beaver Creek Reserve. Created by Barb Menzies-Thompson in memory of Tom Thompson, Beaver Creek Reserve’s first Naturalist, this Fund provides and improves environmental education opportunities for students and staff through field trips and public programs. Anyone wishing to support this fund can donate directly via the Beaver Creek Reserve donation page. (You can type the name of this fund in the "Comments/Donation Instructions" box.)
