Do you want to support many different Eau Claire area nonprofits? The Weinke family did just that by establishing their Unrestricted Fund. Our community’s needs are constantly changing, and Unrestricted Funds like this one give ECCF flexibility to allocate grant dollars for the greatest local needs through our Community Grant Cycle.

The Paul and Cheri Weinke Family Fund has supported grants to many local nonprofits, including Bolton Refuge House, Chippewa Valley Habitat for Humanity, Chippewa Valley Theatre Guild, the Eau Claire Chamber Orchestra, and Lutheran Social Services.

“Most of us know that the Eau Claire community, like most communities, has people who are in need but whose needs are going unmet. Most of us also know that the breadth of those needs is not information that is readily available to us, or, more importantly, how those needs may be best addressed. Giving an unrestricted gift to the Foundation is one way in which we can allow those individuals with that information to make the decisions that will help those most in need.”

Thanks to the generosity of the Weinkes and other fund holders like them, Eau Claire nonprofits will have the financial support they need to keep our community strong. Paul and Cheri are also members of the ECCF Legacy Society, meaning they included ECCF in their estate plans. Their vision is to meet the needs of the community forever.
