Junior League of Eau Claire Endowment Fund CLICK HERE TO DONATE The Junior League of Eau Claire is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable. Formerly known as the Eau Claire Service League, this organization was formed on March 19, 1930, as a coordinated volunteer effort after a flood devastated Eau Claire. The organization grew in size from its original thirteen charter members as new members were invited to join through a sponsorship and voting process. In February 1991, the Service League voted to affiliate with the Association of Junior Leagues International, and in 1993 became the organization now known as the Junior League of Eau Claire. Membership is open to all women who are called to serve and are committed to the mission. Carrying on the tradition of the founders, the Junior League of Eau Claire continues its mission to develop, facilitate, and support a wide variety of projects and fundraisers that serve women and children at risk in the Eau Claire area. The purpose of the Junior League Endowment Fund is to support initiatives, through grants, to non-profit organizations that fulfill this mission. Donations to this Fund can be sent directly to the Eau Claire Community Foundation with a designation for the Junior League Endowment Fund as the recipient.
