This Field of Interest Fund supports educational opportunities in the Greater Chippewa Valley, such as those provided by the Children’s Museum of Eau Claire, the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Greater Chippewa Valley, Literacy Chippewa Valley, the Chippewa Valley Technical College, and others.

Roy and Janice Fuerstenberg have become members of ECCF’s Legacy Society by generously including it in their estate plans, and Janice is also a member of the Women’s Giving Circle. The Fuerstenbergs are grateful for the financial success they achieved after moving to Eau Claire, and they wish to provide incentives to area young people who are also willing to better their lives through effort and education.

A Field of Interest fund allows donors to allocate their contribution for the benefit of one or more areas of interest. These include, but are not limited to, education, health, social services, the arts, or preservation of resources. Field of Interest funds are very broad in scope, yet encompass many of the essential strengths and needs of the community.
