The mission of the Babbette’s Seeds of Hope Fund of the Eau Claire Community Foundation is to support cancer research and patients going through treatments by raising money and donating the proceeds to organizations that engage in cancer research, or that support patients receiving treatments for cancer and other illnesses.

Babbette's Story

Babbette was a mother, wife, daughter, sister, and friend to many. After being diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma in 2006, she and the rest of her family endured countless grueling treatments, hospital stays, and long distances traveled during her almost 9 year fight.

She lost her battle on November 17, 2014, but her inspiring journey continues to give hope today. Her family has never forgotten her dream of a life without cancer for herself and others. That’s why they established the Babbette’s Seeds of Hope Fund to benefit families facing illness.

Donating to the Fund

The Babbette’s Seeds of Hope Fund will support its mission by making grants to support cancer research and the needs of patients going through treatments.

Gifts to the Babbette's Seeds of Hope Fund will keep on giving; they will be prudently invested so that earnings and a portion of the principal will continue to support grants far into the future. You can contribute to the Fund online by clicking the link below.
