The Weber family has been involved in a wide variety of community projects during their time in the Chippewa Valley. Programs that provide opportunities to youth and for community recreation are especially important to them. They explained their vision for the Fund:

"We created the Weber Family Fund to honor and strengthen the nonprofits that make the greater Altoona and Eau Claire area a place where everyone can thrive. 

This fund reflects our belief in the organizations that nourish children and ensure access to safe and stable housing. It supports nonprofits that provide recreation for people of all ages and protect the natural assets that define our region. It invests in libraries and lifelong learning opportunities that enrich our community.

 At its core, the Fund exists because we trust in the power of local nonprofits to care for our community today and safeguard its well being for the future."

This Acorn Fund will support the charitable interests of the Weber family once it's ready to begin issuing grants.
