Robert and Rosemary Mason Scobie made their home in Eau Claire for over seventy-five years. Robert joined his father at R.W. Scobie, Inc. in 1937, and he was Chairman Emeritus at the time of his death, July 4, 2003.

Robert and Rosemary raised five children: William, Susan, Peter, Margaret and Michael.

Peter and Randi Scobie and Robert and Rosemary Scobie are members of the Foundation's Society of Founders, which established the Eau Claire Community Foundation through gifts from generous individuals and businesses. Randi is a Founder and member of the Foundation's Women's Giving Circle.

The Scobie Family Fund is a Donor Advised Fund. The Eau Claire Community Foundation grants from this fund upon recommendation of the Scobie family and upon approval by the Foundation Board of Trustees.
