The Pablo Center at the Confluence established this Agency Fund to support the work of the Chippewa Valley Book Festival, which is an annual celebration of the written word and its impact on the human experience. Its mission is to encourage reading, writing, and engagement.

By relocating its fiscal receivership to the Pablo Center at the Confluence, the Chippewa Valley Book Festival is enhancing its ability to continue offering low-cost and free, high-impact programming for years to come.

Because this is an Agency Fund, all gifts must be made directly to the Chippewa Valley Book Festival and designated for this Fund.

To support the Chippewa Valley Book Festival with a distribution from an IRA or retirement account or a gift of stock, please contact the Eau Claire Community Foundation to initiate this process.

Thank you in advance for supporting the Book Festival financially. Its annual budget for authors’ and presenters’ honoraria and expenses, advertising and printing is about $40,000. Just as the Festival counts on volunteer workers, it relies on financial donations from individuals and businesses to run the festival and secure its future in the Chippewa Valley.
