The O'Halloran family had always had an interest in supporting what makes Eau Claire a great place to live.

Their friend, Tom Grewe had mentioned the option of starting a Donor Advised Fund at ECCF like he had. After meeting with Dick Cable to learn more about intergenerational giving Mike and Marti decided that they too wanted to establish a fund at the foundation.

Mike O'Halloran says, "I like the idea of involving my family so my children can know what philanthropy is and what it feels like."

The O'Halloran Family Fund is a Donor Advised Fund. The O'Hallorans make recommendations to the Foundation's Board of Trustees for approval of grants from their fund to organizations which enhance the quality of life in our community.
