Market & Johnson is committed to the communities we serve. In fact, M&J has always encouraged its employees to become personally involved in the communities where they live and work. Hundreds of hours annually are spent with groups such as the Big Brothers Big Sisters, area rotary clubs, chambers of commerce, university foundations, as well as many others.

Now, to better serve our communities, we have created the M&J Employee Impact Fund (EIF) which will be held at the Eau Claire Community Foundation. The EIF is an internal fund of Market & Johnson in which money is raised by contributions from our employees to support organizations in the communities where we live and work. Market & Johnson then matches 50% of employee contributions.

Throughout the year, the EIF will promote fundraising programs and events to raise money for the fund, which will be distributed to numerous local organizations. These organizations will be recommended by our employees, reviewed by the Impact Fund Committee and approved by Market & Johnson’s Board of Directors and the Board of Trustees, Eau Claire Community Foundation.

The M&J Employee Impact Fund will be managed and distributed through the Eau Claire Community Foundation. When you make a contribution to the Impact Fund, you benefit by getting a charitable tax deduction on your income taxes. In addition, organizations in our communities gain a tremendous benefit from the programs and services that you support. Your donation will have a direct impact on enriching the communities we serve and can truly make a difference in the lives of others.
