Dan and Lisa Mattoon established their Donor Advised fund with the purpose of passing philanthropic values on to the next generation of their family. The whole family will be involved in researching and allocating grants to organizations that they feel are worthy of their support.

Through this active engagement with the nonprofit world, the Mattoons will help their children discover more about their own values, learn about the work of charitable organizations, and continue their tradition of philanthropy into the future.
