Nature lovers can rejoice in the Beaver Creek Reserve, which offers 400 acres of diverse habitats to explore. Bordered by the Eau Claire River, it has an abundance of flora and fauna to be discovered and plenty of educational sites, including the Wise Nature Center.

The Reserve has three new funds to support specific aspects of its operations. One of them is the Doug and Kate Lindsay Adventure Fund. Created when Kate retired as Director of the Friends of Beaver Creek Reserve, this fund is used to purchase or replace equipment, including kayaks, GPS units, and binoculars, that Reserve visitors use on their adventures. The Lindsays are lovers of nature and want to share their passion with future generations.
