Dolly Parton Imagination Library Fund by the Family Resource Center What is the purpose of this Fund? The Imagination Fund is a community-wide campaign to raise $1.6 million and ensure more books reach children under five through the Family Resource Center, which is an affiliate of the Dolly Parton Imagination Library program, providing long-term, sustainable support for early childhood literacy. Why is it needed? ● Literacy is more than reading—it’s the foundation for problem-solving, emotional intelligence, and lifelong learning. ● 1 in 4 U.S. children grow up without learning to read, and literacy gaps contribute to poverty, unemployment, and incarceration. ● At just $31 per child per year, it’s one of the most cost-effective literacy interventions available. ● Since 2022, the FRC has distributed nearly 43,000 books, through DPIL, to young children in Eau Claire County. What will your support accomplish? Supporters of the Imagination Fund are helping to build a brighter future for our community’s youngest learners. Every dollar raised will directly impact a child’s ability to read, learn, and succeed! How can you give? DONATE ONLINE Checks can be mailed to: ECCF/DPIL Fund 306 S.
