This Fund provides funding for an intern who focuses on preserving and archiving historical information for the Chippewa Valley Museum on an annual basis. It has helped to create the L.G. Arnold, Inc StoryMap , which helps to make the histories of the many projects worked on by L. G. Arnold, Inc. more accessible to the public.

The Dean J. Arnold CVM Archivist Intern Fund's first years of funding will focus on the L.G. Arnold Collection that provides some family history.  Much of the work will focus on preserving and archiving photos and documents on twentieth century construction projects in Eau Claire and the surrounding area, including the Mount Tom Reservoir, Plank Street Hill, Eau Claire Water Treatment Plant, Chippewa River bridges and more.
