This Fund supports scholarships for male Gilman High School graduates who are involved in athletic programs and plan to pursue post-secondary education in any field of study. It was established by the family of Craig Kenner, a student in the School District of Gilman.

Craig Allen Kenner was a junior at Gilman High School when he tragically died in an accident on October 6, 1990. Craig was the Junior Class President, which displays his leadership skills and respect he had from his classmates. He played football and baseball. Craig’s jersey number in those sports was number 1. He was an excellent student and an even better person. On the athletic fields he was number 1 and to Craig’s family, he is always number 1 in our hearts.

A football camp, Kenner Kamp, in his memory was offered to student athletes for 20 years at Gilman High School. Athletes who attended camp came from high schools from several counties.  The football camp monies were used to fund the Craig Kenner Memorial Scholarship.
