The Christopher J. and Julie A. Hasenberg Family Fund is a Donor Advised Fund that supports nonprofit organizations in the Chippewa Valley.

Chris Hasenberg acted on his commitment to giving back by joining the Eau Claire Community Foundation’s Board of Trustees in 2014. In addition, before establishing his fund, Chris Hasenberg had become a member of the Eau Claire Community Foundation’s Legacy Society. He described his experience as follows:

“As a financial advisor in the Chippewa Valley for more than 20 years, I have been blessed with the opportunity to work with thousands of families in the area. An important part of personal finance is how we work with charities and which charities we work with. I found this to be true, so I started asking friends and colleagues about their favorite charities. The Eau Claire Community Foundation has many positive aspects, but the one that seemed to grab me was the idea of leaving a legacy for generations to come. I’m honored to make a contribution to an organization that will be providing benefits perpetually to the Chippewa Valley.”

The Christopher J. Hasenberg Family Fund has now become another important part of that legacy.
