Mission Statement:  The Children’s Legacy Endowment Fund offers an opportunity for donors to make profound and lasting contributions to the health and welfare of children in the greater Eau Claire area forever.

Fund history: Started in 2002 by the Friends of Luther Hospital, the Children's Legacy Endowment Fund became a fund of the Eau Claire Community Foundation in 2007. This Field of Interest Fund supports local children by providing annual grants to nonprofits that serve them. Each year, a percentage from the Endowment Fund goes towards grants that support the Fund's mission, as recommended by the ECCF's Grants Committee.

Since inception, this Fund has supported grants to many local nonprofits, including the Children's Museum of Eau Claire, the Family Resource Center, Boys and Girls Clubs of the Greater Chippewa Valley, the Eau Claire Children's Theatre, and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwestern Wisconsin. 

Thanks to the vision of this Fund's founders, local children have even more opportunities to learn, play, and grow!
