This Donor-Advised Fund supports a diverse array of causes, including animals and the environment; the economic health of the community; arts and culture; and technical college scholarships.

Donor Advised Funds allow individuals, families, and businesses to be fully involved in their philanthropy. Donors recommend grants to their favorite nonprofits, while the Foundation handles all the paperwork and administration. These funds offer many of the same benefits as a private foundation without the burden and cost.

Robert Barfknecht has been painting watercolor for nearly 50 years. His work has received recognition and awards, including first prize in the first annual Eau Claire Plein Air contest at Beaver Creek in 2015. He has also had work displayed in private and public galleries in Italy and around the United States, including the Manalapan Public Library and the Madeline Island School of the Arts. Robert enjoys his summers on Lake Altoona and winters on Hypoluxo Island in Florida, painting en plein air whenever he can.
