In collaboration with United Way of the Greater Chippewa Valley, ECCF established the Quick Response Community Fund to rapidly deploy resources to Eau Claire area nonprofits at the frontlines of the COVID-19 outbreak and for urgent operational needs. ECCF and UWGCV are collaborating and communicating with Marshfield Clinic Health System, the Community Foundation of Dunn County and the Community Foundation of Chippewa County to further efforts to support their areas' nonprofits. First New Funds of 2019

ECCF is pleased to announce its first new Funds of 2019. They are: Andrew and Brenda Schlafer Family Fund: This Acorn Fund will eventually grow to support Eau Claire area nonprofits. Bidwell Engebretson Tusen Takk Volunteer Support Fund: This Agency Endowment supports the volunteer program of the American Birkebeiner Ski Foundation. Cody and Molly Filipczak Scholarship Fund: This Scholarship Fund helps graduates of the South Shore School District in Port Wing, WI, finance their post-secondary educations. Doris J. Congratulations to the nonprofit organizations that received grants from the 2015 Eau Claire Community Foundation Competitive Grant Cycle! The checks were officially presented at the ECCF Annual Meeting on June 4, 2015. The Eau Claire Community Foundation received a wide spectrum of grant applications in 2015; here is that year by the numbers: We received 59 grant applications, 31 for asset purchases and 28 for program expenses, totaling $285,096.
