That’s why today’s announcement of its Form Futures grant recipients is especially significant: November 12 – 18 is Community Foundation Week, a nationwide celebration to recognize the increasingly important role that community foundations play in addressing civic and economic challenges. They are: Andrew and Brenda Schlafer Family Fund: This Acorn Fund will eventually grow to support Eau Claire area nonprofits. Bidwell Engebretson Tusen Takk Volunteer Support Fund: This Agency Endowment supports the volunteer program of the American Birkebeiner Ski Foundation. Posted on June 9, 2015 by support Congratulations to the nonprofit organizations that received grants from the 2015 Eau Claire Community Foundation Competitive Grant Cycle! The checks were officially presented at the ECCF Annual Meeting on June 4, 2015.
