Executive Director Position Announcement Wipfli LLP is assisting the Board of Trustees at ECCF with the confidential recruitment and selection of the next Executive Director (due to the planned transition of our long-time ED to a part-time donor development role). We are looking for a dynamic combination of education, experience, and approach which includes: Significant executive leadership experience, preferably in another foundation or charitable non-profit organization, or in professional or financial services A bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a related field Exceptional ‘people’ and communication skills (one-on-one, groups, and public presentations), and a passion for accountably serving the community’s philanthropic needs A positive track record of building and maintaining excellent working relationships with donors, staff, community leaders and members, Boards of Trustees/Directors, and professional service providers A growth mindset with successful experience in building funding sources and donors, determining community needs, working with grant recipients, and executing the planning process to provide those services Impeccable standards of integrity and trust-building, respect for people from all walks of life Excellent understanding of the regulatory and financial aspects of foundations – includes strategic planning, investment strategy, optimizing grants, and contract negotiation/administration Proficiency in MS Office Suite is expected (especially Excel, Word, and Outlook) We are accepting candidate applications through March 15, 2023 and will begin the screening process at that time.
