By combining our collective resources of time, talent, and finances, we can achieve a greater impact than any one woman could do alone. Together, we can inspire philanthropy in women of all ages and create opportunities for women to make a difference in their communities for generations to come.

Education and Program Team
The Education and Program Team has the responsibility to plan programs, create educational opportunities and provide speakers to be resources for the members to learn about issues affecting women and children in the Eau Claire area. As needed, the Team shall find speakers, secure meeting venues, and arrange specific educational sessions. An ongoing goal of the Women’s Giving Circle is to provide at least two educational programs per year for members about issues pertaining to women, philanthropy and the needs of women and children in the Eau Claire area.
The Grants Team manages the process for selecting grantee organizations each year by developing timelines, overseeing the request for proposals process, and reviewing and evaluating the grant proposals submitted to Women’s Giving Circle. In addition, the Grants Team develops and updates the grant application and other Women’s Giving Circle forms used to evaluate grant proposals. Upon completion of the grant review process, the team recommends the selected grants to the general membership for a vote of approval. Once approved by the Women’s Giving Circle, the grants are submitted to the Eau Claire Community Foundation Board of Trustees for final approval.

The Nominating Team will be appointed by the Circle Advisory Team and will be comprised of the Chairs of the Teams. The Nominating Team is responsible for developing a fair, inclusive, and comprehensive process for electing Women’s Giving Circle Officers, Team Chairs, and Co-Chairs; ensuring that the most qualified candidates are presented to the members. The Team will present a slate of officers to the general membership for their vote at the Annual Meeting in November.
