“Response & Recovery Community Fund”

About the Fund

ECCF is welcoming donations to our Community Fund, which addresses the Eau Claire area's greatest needs annually. Though the Response & Recovery Community Fund has closed, the Community Fund will continue its mission of supporting local nonprofits as they adapt to the challenges of the pandemic. The Response & Recovery Community Fund will “live on” through the Community Fund.

Grants from the Response & Recovery Community Fund supported Chippewa Valley nonprofits in their work to cope with the COVID-19 pandemic and were awarded in conjunction with United Way of the Greater Chippewa Valley. Each organization offered its own grant opportunities, then collaborated to ensure that their grant awards would be the most effective at meeting Chippewa Valley needs. Together, their collective impact was almost $975,000!

In these grant cycles, ECCF awarded more than $612,000 in grants. This amount wouldn't have been possible without a generous $100,000 donation from C&M Companies, a $30,000 donation from the XCel Energy Foundation, and many other gifts from generous donors.

Response & Recovery Grant Impact:

During Phase 1 of granting, this fund was called the Quick Response Community Fund.

Phase 1, which consisted of four grant cycles, distributed $274,491 to 42 nonprofits!

Phase 2 of this grant cycle distributed $200,700 to 18 nonprofits!

Phase 3 of this grant cycle distributed $137,315 to 17 nonprofits!

Thank you, Donors! Your gifts have truly made a difference.
