Story Builder Campaign for the L.E. Phillips Memorial Public Library Expansion

About the Fund

The public library has been part of Eau Claire since 1858. For over 160 years, it has given members a chance to discover, explore, and connect. The library needs your help to continue providing everyone in our community with a great place to learn and grow! The Story Builder Campaign is aiming to raise $7 million to reach its exciting expansion goals. These funds will supplement $11.5 million already coming from the City of Eau Claire for much needed mechanical upgrades to the library’s aging facilities.

Expansion Plans

• A third floor
• A 200-seat event space
• Larger children’s programming space
• Rooms for meetings, big and small
• Quiet places for studying
• Rooms for tweens and teens
• More bookshelves
• More computer stations
• A learning lab for all ages
• A children’s play-and-learn space
• New restrooms
• And so much more
